I am a dedicated Patti Smith fan. Back in 1998 I saw her 5 times in one week in Europe and the USA. In New York a third night was spontaneously added, but my flight back to Austria was that day, so I couldn't attend the concert. When I asked myself why I was so sad, and why I was so obsessed with this woman, I realized that she was living the dream I'd never even dared to be conscious of. Going on 36, I decided it was too late to be a punk rocker, but decided to learn to play guitar and shortly thereafter started writing songs. I became a singer songwriter and that changed my life.
